Infrastructure Manager, Tamworth, £60K

My client is a dynamic and forward-thinking company committed to providing exceptional IT services and infrastructure solutions. We are now looking for an experienced Infrastructure Manager to lead our IT infrastructure teams and ensure the smooth running of our internal systems and networks. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual who has strong management experience and a passion for delivering top-quality infrastructure services.
As the Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the management, maintenance, and enhancement of our company's infrastructure. You will lead multiple teams that provide support and maintain systems and networks across the business, ensuring that all infrastructure services are delivered efficiently, securely, and with minimal disruption to business operations. You will have a direct impact on both the day-to-day operations and the strategic direction of the IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage multiple infrastructure teams, ensuring they work effectively and efficiently to meet organizational goals.
* Develop, implement, and maintain the infrastructure strategy to ensure scalability, security, and performance.
* Oversee the maintenance of all infrastructure systems, including servers, networks, data centres, and cloud solutions.
* Manage and monitor the performance of the infrastructure, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
* Collaborate with senior leadership to align infrastructure strategies with the overall company goals and objectives.
* Manage the budgeting and resource allocation for infrastructure projects and initiatives.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in managing and leading multiple IT teams, with a strong background in infrastructure management.
* Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and cloud solutions.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage a diverse range of technical teams.
* Strong analytical and decision-making skills.

Desirable Skills & Experience:
* Experience in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.).
* Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or other relevant infrastructure management qualifications.
* Familiarity with virtualisation technologies and containerisation.
