Freelance SAP Project Manager (with S/4 Expertise) Needed for Transformation Project
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced freelance Project Manager with deep knowledge of SAP S/4 and ERP systems to lead a transformative project for a client undergoing a major post-acquisition integration. You will guide the transition from an on-premises ERP solution to ultimately SAP S/4 Hana. This role offers the opportunity to shape the client's future ERP landscape, develop a comprehensive roadmap, and manage the interim processes critical for long-term success.
Project Scope: The project is projected to last approximately 4-6 months, with key phases including:
1 Transition from On-Premise ERP to SaaS - Upgrade the existing Roima ERP solution to Roima Lean Cloud (SaaS), serving as a long-term interim step.
2 Roadmap Development for SAP S/4 - Design a clear path for the future ERP ecosystem, including the integration of SAP S/4 and other essential applications.
The role requires a proactive approach to assessing current business processes, identifying necessary modifications, and coordinating across teams and stakeholders to deliver impactful, strategic changes.
Responsibilities:

ERP System Transition:
* Lead the migration of the current on-premises Roima ERP system to a SaaS solution.
* Coordinate with the vendor's project manager to ensure smooth delivery and alignment with customer requirements.

Strategic ERP Roadmap Development:
* Define the ERP ecosystem and create a phased plan for the transition to SAP S/4, taking into account related applications and data management needs.
* Manage project timelines, anticipate challenges, and adjust the roadmap as needed.

Business Process and Change Management:
* Assess existing business processes and implement necessary changes to support the new ERP structure.
* Develop change management strategies to ensure a seamless transition and high stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in project or program management, specifically in ERP or SAP environments.
* Proven expertise in SAP S/4 implementation and architecture, with strong knowledge of data migration, process mapping, and finance workflows.
* Hands-on experience in business process development and change management.
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with various business units.
* Familiarity with Roima Lean ERP is an advantage.
Location and Commitment:
* Location: Preferably in the Greater Helsinki area, though remote work is possible.
* Start Date: December 1, 2024
* Duration: 4-6 months, with an initial 30% commitment expected to increase to full-time as the ERP project advances.
* Allocation: Full-time (100%)
