Job Description

A listed and stable manufacturing company with long history of success is currently seeking a System Analyst to join their expanding Application & Support team for new and existing project developments. As a System Analyst, you will be responsible for assisting the IT Manager in the development and implementation of Java-based applications, gathering & analyzing business requirements and designing technical solutions.

Role & Responsibilities:

* Gather and document business users' requirements and translate into technical solutions and designs.
* Conduct system test, user acceptance tests, and data integration.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the development and deployment process
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new products to address current IT challenges and improve IT efficiency.
* Work closely with technical team and developers during development phase; participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality.

Skills & Qualifications:

* Bachelor Degree holder in Computer Science; Computing Studies or related disciplines.
* At least 5 years of experience in system development and project management.
* Any hands-on experience in system development on ERP systems would be a definite advantage.
* Proficient at Java, SQL, .NET, ASP.NET, HTML.
* Experience in application design, development and implementation.
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
* Willingness to travel.
