About the Role:
As the SAP Solution Manager, Digital Tax and Statutory Reporting, you will serve as the "concept owner" for a critical domain, working to navigate evolving compliance requirements while driving innovation. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure global solutions remain optimized, up to date, and ahead of the curve.
Your role will include exploring new vendors and technologies, streamlining existing processes, and serving as a proactive driver of change in this niche and evolving area.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and support digital tax and statutory reporting services, driving implementations from an Information Management (IM) perspective.
* Act as a consultant and participant in minor developments and operational projects in your domain.
* Collect functional requirements and provide technical insights to aid decision-making.
* Propose solutions, create functional designs, and develop prototypes/mock-ups.
* Oversee documentation and test cases related to functional developments.
* Drive contract creation efforts in collaboration with sourcing teams.
* Maintain active stakeholder relationships, fostering transparency, communication, and continuous improvement.
What You Bring:
* A B.Sc or M.Sc. in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
* Strong knowledge of statutory reporting and compliance solutions for various countries, such as SAP eDocument framework.
* Hands-on configuration and implementation experience in modules such as SAP FI, SD, and MM.
* Familiarity with other tools such as Edicom, Pagero, Vertex, Sovos, Turnkey is a benefit.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills in a global environment.
* A proactive and independent mindset with strong leadership and collaboration skills.
* Knowledge of ITIL, project management, agile methodologies, and service design.
* Fluency in English (spoken and written).
* Experience with SAP S/4HANA is considered a plus.
