Job Overview:
As the IT Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, deployment, and maintenance of all IT infrastructure systems within the organisation. You will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure seamless IT operations, providing reliable, secure, and efficient systems that support the business needs of a growing lighting manufacturing company.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Infrastructure Strategy & Management:
Develop and implement the overall IT infrastructure strategy in line with the company's goals, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.

Network and Systems Administration:
Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the company's network, servers, and hardware, ensuring optimal performance and up time.

Cloud and On-Premises Solutions:
Manage a hybrid IT environment, integrating both cloud-based and on-premises solutions, ensuring smooth operations across the company.

Cybersecurity:
Collaborate with the security team to develop and implement measures to safeguard the IT infrastructure against potential threats, ensuring data privacy and compliance with industry standards.

Vendor Management:
Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, ensuring cost-effective solutions, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.

Team Leadership and Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:
Ensure that disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place, tested, and effectively executed in the event of IT incidents.

Budget Management:
Oversee the IT infrastructure budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost control in line with business objectives.

Project Management:
Lead and manage IT infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and alignment with company goals.

Collaboration with Other Departments:
Work closely with other departments to understand their IT infrastructure needs and provide tailored solutions that support business operations, particularly in the areas of production and manufacturing.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience (5+ years) in managing IT infrastructure, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of networking, cloud services, server management, vitalisation, and storage systems.
Hands-on experience with enterprise IT systems, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, and Microsoft 365.
Familiarity with IT security best practices and tools.
Experience with ERP systems integration and manufacturing technologies is a plus.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop IT teams.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
Relevant certifications such as ITIL, Cisco, or Microsoft are preferred.
