We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Epicor Junior Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will support the implementation, configuration, and optimisation of Epicor ERP solutions for our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a passion for ERP systems and a desire to grow their expertise in Epicor software. As a Junior Consultant, you will work closely with senior consultants, project managers, and clients to deliver high-quality solutions and provide hands-on support in a variety of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implementation & Configuration: Assist in the implementation and configuration of Epicor ERP solutions, ensuring that they meet client requirements and business processes.
* System Analysis: Collaborate with clients to analyse and document their business needs, translating those requirements into functional Epicor solutions.
* Training & Support: Provide user training and ongoing support, helping clients to effectively use the Epicor system and resolve any issues they encounter.
* Customisation & Testing: Support the customisation of Epicor modules, and participate in system testing to ensure the solution works as intended.
* Documentation: Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including system configurations, processes, and user guides.
* Client Communication: Act as a point of contact for clients, providing status updates, addressing inquiries, and ensuring that project milestones are met on time.
* Collaboration: Work closely with senior consultants, developers, and project managers to ensure smooth project delivery and continuous improvement.
* Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with Epicor ERP features, updates, and best practices, continuously developing your knowledge of the system.
* Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
* Basic understanding of ERP systems, with a focus on Epicor being highly preferred.
* Familiarity with business processes in areas such as finance, manufacturing, inventory management, or supply chain is a plus.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and business practices.
* Knowledge of SQL or other database management systems is a plus.
* Previous experience with Epicor or ERP systems is advantageous but not required.
* Preferred Skills:
* Familiarity with Epicor modules such as Manufacturing, Financials, Supply Chain, or HR.
* Experience with system testing, troubleshooting, and user support.
* Exposure to Agile or project management methodologies.
* Certifications or training in Epicor ERP or related software (preferred but not required).
